Stantec, a globally recognized engineering and design firm, is hiring a Project Manager for on-site roles across the UAE. The role focuses on construction management of government and defense-related buildings and healthcare facilities, acting as an owner’s representative. Responsibilities include contract administration, inspections, quality control, reporting, and health & safety oversight. Candidates should have excellent English communication skills and the ability to thrive in high-pressure environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as owner’s representative on-site for various government and defense construction projects

• Manage construction administration and contract oversight

• Conduct engineering inspections and ensure quality standards

• Supervise health and safety compliance on-site

• Provide progress reports and coordinate with project stakeholders

• Oversee all stages from construction to commissioning

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture

• 15–20 years of total experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in healthcare projects (hospitals, clinics, labs) is a plus

• Previous PMC (Project Management Consultancy) experience preferred

• Fluent in English (Level 2 proficiency)

• Strong written communication and client-facing skills

• Ability to work under pressure and handle long-term assignments in demanding environments
