🔍 Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Programme Manager to lead and drive complex transformation initiatives within a dynamic banking and financial services environment. The role will involve end-to-end programme delivery, stakeholder management, and governance across both technology and business change initiatives. You will be accountable for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and achieve the desired business outcomes.
🚀 Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end programme delivery, from initiation to implementation, ensuring alignment with business strategy and objectives.

Collaborate with local business heads, global delivery teams, and external partners to drive successful change.

Balance scope, schedule, budget, risk, and interdependencies to deliver high-impact transformation programmes.

Promote and implement Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean) across delivery teams, while aligning with organizational change frameworks.

Support larger, complex initiatives in partnership with senior programme/project managers, ensuring adherence to governance and delivery standards.

Establish and maintain effective programme controls, including progress tracking, risk management, reporting, and quality assurance.

Create and deliver high-quality status reports, risk assessments, and recommendations to senior leadership and steering committees.

Champion benefits realization by aligning project outcomes with strategic goals.

Advocate HSBC/global banking change frameworks, ensuring compliance with global standards and best practices.
🧾 Qualifications & Requirements:

5–8 years of experience managing change initiatives, including strategy, design, innovation, and delivery within financial institutions.

Proven track record of managing complex, large-scale programmes in retail and wealth banking environments.

Demonstrated experience with end-to-end project lifecycle, including hands-on delivery using Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.

Deep understanding of banking business models, and how transformation efforts impact customer experience and business performance.

Strong experience in business analysis, project governance, and stakeholder management across cross-functional teams.

Excellent leadership, people management, and interpersonal skills, capable of leading multiple workstreams and large delivery teams.

Expertise in change management, program governance, and benefits tracking across enterprise-wide initiatives.
