Position Title: Junior Accountant

About the Client:

A well-established global petrochemical group engaged in the manufacturing and trading of premium paints and coatings, with a strong presence in international markets and a base in Dubai, UAE.

Role Overview:

We are hiring a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to manage financial transactions, reconciliations, and assist with month-end closings and VAT filings. This role is essential in ensuring accuracy in financial records and compliance with UAE accounting and tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

📊 Accounting Operations

• Record and reconcile vendor invoices, receipts, and customer payments in the accounting system

• Prepare reconciliations for bank statements, petty cash, and company credit cards

• Post journal entries and maintain ledgers in line with IFRS standards

🧾 Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Assist with monthly and annual closing procedures

• Support the preparation and submission of VAT returns

• Compile financial data for management reports and ensure alignment with UAE tax laws

Candidate Requirements:

• Nationality: Open to Female Filipino candidates

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in the UAE

• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT regulations, and general accounting principles

• Other: High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage tight deadlines
