GreenTree Advisory Services Pvt Ltd is hiring a Program Manager – Data Governance to lead strategic data initiatives for a major banking client. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, where the successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of enterprise-wide data governance programs. The Program Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring data quality, regulatory compliance, and a robust data management culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of comprehensive data governance programs.

• Implement governance frameworks, metadata management systems, and data quality standards.

• Collaborate with C-level executives and cross-functional teams across business and IT.

• Oversee risk management, compliance with global standards (such as GDPR, AML, BCBS 239), and reporting requirements.

• Manage and guide teams of data stewards, analysts, and project contributors.

• Ensure alignment of data initiatives with strategic business objectives and compliance mandates.

Skills Required:

• Proven experience in program/project management, specifically in data governance (14+ years overall, 6+ in data governance roles).

• Deep knowledge of tools and platforms such as Informatica Data Governance, MDM, and data reporting tools.

• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements like GDPR, BCBS 239, and AML standards.

• Leadership skills with an ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.

• Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, DGSP, or CDMP are highly desirable.

Other Requirements:

• Must be able to operate effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.

• Experience in banking or financial services sector is preferred.

• Available to work full-time from the Dubai office (on-site).
