The Cigna Group is seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead the development and lifecycle management of innovative health insurance solutions. In this role, you will drive cross-functional collaboration, balancing business goals with technical capabilities to deliver products that meet regulatory requirements and customer needs. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept to continuous improvement

• Ensure alignment of product features with strategic business goals and regulatory standards

• Act as a bridge between business and technology teams, collaborating on development and delivery

• Maintain and prioritize the product backlog using agile practices

• Balance stakeholder needs and technical resources to prioritize feature development

• Own system knowledge and BAU (Business-As-Usual) performance, while driving future enhancements

• Define and track KPIs and product success metrics

• Engage with internal teams such as marketing, operations, compliance, and IT

• Implement continuous improvements in both systems and customer experience

• Monitor market trends and emerging technologies in health insurance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Health Insurance, Engineering, or a related field

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in the health insurance or healthcare sector

• Deep understanding of insurance systems, claims processes, and industry regulations

• Proficiency in agile frameworks (especially SAFe), sprint planning, and backlog grooming

• Familiarity with tools like JIRA or similar platforms

• Strong skills in analytics, communication, and cross-functional collaboration

• Knowledge of UX/UI principles and customer journey mapping is a plus

• Experience with claims systems and regulatory compliance is preferred
