The company is seeking an experienced Procurement Officer for its Contracting Division (ALC) to manage procurement processes, supplier coordination, and materials sourcing for ongoing and upcoming projects. The role involves ensuring that all procurement activities are aligned with project requirements, budgets, and timelines, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage procurement activities for construction and fit-out projects within ALC.

• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective purchasing without compromising quality.

• Prepare and review procurement plans in alignment with project schedules.

• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.

• Coordinate closely with the operations, project management, and finance teams to meet budgetary and operational goals.

• Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier databases.

• Ensure compliance with UAE procurement regulations and company policies.

• Support cost-control initiatives and identify opportunities for savings.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.

• 5–8 years of procurement experience in the UAE construction or contracting sector.

• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

• Good understanding of UAE construction laws, procurement procedures, and material sourcing strategies.

• Proficiency in procurement and project management software.

• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).

• Ability to manage multiple procurement tasks under tight deadlines.
