Avery Dennison, a global leader in materials science and manufacturing, is currently seeking a highly experienced and strategic Procurement Manager to join its team in Dubai, UAE. This is a full-time, on-site role focused on optimizing the company’s procurement activities to drive efficiency, cost savings, and supplier excellence.

As the Procurement Manager, you will lead procurement efforts across the country, working closely with internal stakeholders and business units to develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding of procurement principles, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to deliver measurable value through supplier relationships and market strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead country-level procurement strategy to maximize value and support company goals.

• Collaborate with business units and internal stakeholders from need identification to implementation of procurement strategies.

• Conduct supply analysis, source suppliers, manage contracts, and monitor supplier performance.

• Deliver cost-saving initiatives and assist in commodity strategy development.

• Coach and lead procurement team members to enhance capability and efficiency.

• Set and manage short-, mid-, and long-term procurement goals for Direct, Subcontracting, and Indirect Materials & Services (IM&S) categories.

• Improve procurement processes including market analysis, sourcing strategies, negotiation, and approvals.

• Oversee procurement systems and ensure efficient system usage.

• Manage procurement operations including sourcing, contracting, and supplier management.

• Mentor and support team development through training, coaching, and job rotation.

• Monitor supplier performance, develop corrective action plans, and ensure follow-up.

• Ensure subcontractor compliance in coordination with the Global Compliance Team.

• Analyze cost drivers, benchmark suppliers, and identify consolidation opportunities.

• Support the procurement aspects of various internal and external projects.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 8–10 years of experience in procurement, with a strong leadership track record.

• Proven ability to collaborate at executive levels across business functions.

• Expertise in sourcing and procurement principles and best practices.

• Advanced negotiation, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience using modern procurement and sourcing systems.

• Strong verbal and written communication in English.
