Job Title: Procurement Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Engineer (Mechanical) to join a dynamic team within a leading organization in the UAE. This role is ideal for an engineer with strong procurement expertise and a solid background in sourcing, negotiation, and vendor management, especially within the UAE or GCC region.

As a key member of the procurement department, you will oversee the complete procurement cycle, ensuring all materials and services are acquired efficiently, cost-effectively, and in line with project specifications and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end procurement processes including supplier identification, evaluation, and contract negotiations.

• Prepare and manage RFQs, purchase orders, and cost comparisons while ensuring quality and timely delivery.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure a reliable supply chain.

• Drive cost-saving initiatives while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

• Maintain organized and accurate procurement documentation and records.

• Resolve supply chain issues promptly to avoid project delays.

• Oversee international logistics and ensure compliance with import/export regulations and customs procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.

• Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a Procurement Engineer within the UAE or GCC.

• Strong knowledge of international procurement processes, logistics, and customs formalities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant procurement software/tools.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Detail-oriented with strong negotiation and vendor management capabilities.
