Impala Terminals is seeking a Procurement Coordinator to manage the acquisition of goods and services for the organization. This role involves sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, ensuring timely delivery, and optimizing procurement strategies. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and negotiation skills, experience in industrial procurement, and the ability to enhance procurement efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Procurement Policy & Compliance: Maintain and follow procurement policies, ensuring all approvals and purchase orders adhere to company thresholds.
✅ Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and develop strategic relationships with key suppliers. Conduct supplier audits and performance reviews.
✅ Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing to maximize value for the company while ensuring legal compliance.
✅ Procurement Planning: Work with internal teams to assess procurement needs, maintain accurate records, and manage purchase orders, bid proposals, and invoices.
✅ Cost Control & Budgeting: Track procurement expenditures, run procurement budgets, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
✅ Risk Management: Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and mitigate procurement risks.
✅ Process Optimization: Improve procurement processes and implement advanced procurement technologies.
✅ Reporting & Documentation: Maintain records of supplier performance and procurement activities, preparing regular procurement reports.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

🔹 Bachelor’s degree with 4-5 years of experience in industrial procurement.
🔹 Experience in the oil industry is an advantage.
🔹 Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
🔹 Proficiency in Navision Systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
🔹 Ability to analyze market trends and supplier performance data.
🔹 Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and time management.
