Position: Procurement & Logistics Specialist
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Dubai, UAE
Salary: AED 4,000 – 8,000 (Inclusive of all fixed allowances)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Procurement & Logistics Specialist to oversee and manage our sourcing and procurement activities across various sectors, including laboratory chemicals, medical equipment, agricultural inputs, and industrial machinery. This role requires a strong understanding of international procurement, supplier negotiation, regulatory compliance, and end-to-end logistics coordination.


Key Responsibilities

  • Source and evaluate global suppliers and manufacturers to meet quality, price, and compliance benchmarks.

  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to maximize value and operational efficiency.

  • Ensure all purchases align with international regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, FDA, CE).

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and innovative sourcing methods.

  • Prepare tenders, issue purchase orders, track deliveries, and manage logistics with freight forwarders.

  • Maintain accurate procurement records and generate reports for analysis and review.

  • Conduct supplier performance evaluations and foster strong vendor relationships.

  • Address procurement risks, resolve disputes, and ensure uninterrupted supply chain operations.


Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

  • 3–5 years of proven experience in procurement or international sourcing, preferably in medical, industrial, or chemical sectors.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Strong knowledge of procurement platforms and supplier sourcing tools.

  • Understanding of compliance certifications (ISO 13485, FDA, CE) and Incoterms.

  • Skilled in managing international logistics and customs clearance processes.

Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to multitask and handle complex projects under tight deadlines.

  • Analytical mindset with a focus on cost control and efficiency.

Preferred:

  • Professional certifications like CSCP, CPSM, or CIPS.

  • Experience in sustainable procurement practices.
