Key Responsibilities:

🧩 Teaching & Learning

• Deliver inspiring, engaging lessons based on a clear understanding of the American curriculum

• Organize learning resources and create stimulating displays

• Differentiate instruction to cater to students’ abilities and language needs

• Assess student progress through observations and formative assessment

• Collaborate with support staff and specialists (e.g., speech therapists)

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Teamwork & Communication

• Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and parents

• Work closely with other teachers to plan cross-curricular lessons

• Support the overall development and well-being of children

📝 Assessment & Reporting

• Use Target Tracker for assessment and tracking

• Provide progress reports and parent-teacher conference updates

• Use assessment data to inform teaching and interventions

🏫 Behavior Management & School Ethos

• Uphold school behavior policies and act as a positive role model

• Foster a classroom culture of respect, independence, and motivation

• Participate in school duties and extracurricular activities

🌟 Wider Responsibilities

• Join a curriculum action group and support school events

• Organize and lead one Extracurricular Activity (ECA) per term

• Engage with families and the broader school community

Qualifications & Requirements:

✅ Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Early Childhood or related field

• Teaching qualification appropriate for Pre-KG

• 2–3 years of EYFS teaching experience

• Experience working with EAL (English as an Additional Language) learners

✅ Desirable Qualities:

• Commitment to educating the whole child

• High standards of professionalism and collaboration

• Familiarity with CPOMS or similar safeguarding tools

• Strong classroom management and creative teaching strategies
