SpeakUp is the world’s first AI-powered platform connecting event organizers, podcasters, journalists, and media professionals with top-tier speakers and experts. Launched in April 2025, SpeakUp empowers speakers to showcase their profile, receive invitations, and increase visibility globally. The PR & Media Relations Manager will drive media outreach, secure press features, and position SpeakUp’s founders as thought leaders across the US and UAE markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pitch stories proactively to journalists, podcast hosts, editors, and influencers in the US and UAE.

• Leverage existing media contacts to secure interviews, articles, and guest features.

• Draft and distribute press releases; create media kits and briefing materials.

• Maintain and expand SpeakUp’s media presence in traditional and digital outlets.

• Position founders as thought leaders and secure speaking opportunities in podcasts, panels, and interviews.

• Track and report media coverage and prepare a 3-month media plan with clear targets.

• Deliver weekly updates highlighting coverage, achievements, and next steps.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Proven experience as a PR Manager or Media Relations Specialist in startups, SaaS, events, or digital media.

• Established media contacts in the US and/or UAE.

• Strong track record of securing press coverage and podcast features.

• Excellent writing, pitching, and communication skills in English.

• Independent, results-driven, and comfortable working on a contract basis.

• Global background and media networks in international markets is a plus.
