Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort is looking for a dedicated Pool & Beach Attendant to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, guest comfort, and service in its pool, beach, and recreation areas. The ideal candidate will maintain a safe and hygienic environment, assist guests with professionalism and courtesy, and uphold Sofitel’s reputation for luxury and personalized hospitality.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness of pool, beach, and common areas in line with hotel standards.

• Ensure all equipment is clean, properly stored, and well maintained.

• Report damaged or missing items to the Recreation Supervisor and Assistant Manager.

• Hand over lost and found items with detailed information as per hotel policy.

• Respond courteously and promptly to guest requests and ensure personalized service.

• Escort guests when needed, ensuring discretion, respect for privacy, and confidentiality.

• Monitor and restock guest amenities, towels, lockers, and loungers.

• Sort dirty linen and waste for proper handling and disposal.

• Keep corridors and recreation areas free of obstacles and hazards.

• Support hotel’s Environment Charter initiatives (energy saving, recycling, waste sorting).

• Remain flexible and rotate across different sections of the Spa & Recreation Department as required.

• Carry out any additional duties assigned by the Recreation Supervisor or Assistant Manager.

Skills & Qualifications Required:

• Previous experience in hospitality or recreation preferred.

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of hygiene and safety standards in recreation areas.

• Ability to work in outdoor environments and manage physical tasks.

• Professional, polite, and service-oriented attitude.

• Flexible and adaptable to changing operational needs.
