Job Title: Planning Manager – PMC

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Planning Manager to join our dynamic project management consultancy (PMC) team in Abu Dhabi. This role is critical in overseeing project planning, ensuring successful execution, and maintaining alignment with project objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working on both the contractor and PMC/client sides, bringing strategic insights and leadership to the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with project managers and teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Conduct regular project reviews to assess progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Analyze project data to anticipate potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate communication among stakeholders to ensure all parties are informed on project developments.
• Prepare and deliver regular reports on project status and key performance metrics to senior management.
• Lead project planning meetings and clearly communicate expectations to team members.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural or Civil Engineering; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• 15-20 years of experience in planning and project management within the PMC industry, preferably in the UAE.
• PMP or equivalent certification is required.
• Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Proven leadership ability to guide teams toward successful project completion.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
