Peoplefocus HR is recruiting on behalf of a client in Dubai operating in the interior design and home renovation industry. The client specializes in premium residential and commercial fit-out projects, delivering high-quality transformations through innovation and excellence in execution.

🎯 Role Overview:

The client is seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to manage, monitor, and improve project schedules for interior fit-out and construction projects. The role involves working closely with project stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery, resource alignment, and schedule integrity.

✨ Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain project schedules (baseline, revised, recovery) using Primavera P6 and MS Project.

• Liaise with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and procurement teams to consolidate project data.

• Monitor actual progress and update schedules to reflect changes and deviations.

• Analyze project delays, disruptions, and risks; create impact reports and recovery strategies.

• Prepare and deliver periodic reports: daily, weekly, and monthly progress summaries and KPIs.

• Assist in resource planning and allocation to meet project milestones.

• Participate in client meetings, presenting schedule updates and addressing concerns.

• Ensure planning activities align with contractual obligations and project specifications.

• Support the commercial team with documentation for claims, extensions, and variations.

• Identify and implement improvements to project planning processes and tools.

✅ Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

• 3–7 years of experience in fit-out or build projects, preferably in the GCC region.

• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Office.

• Deep understanding of fit-out methodologies and construction workflows.

• Strong analytical, communication, and time management skills.

• Ability to thrive under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines.

• Residency in Dubai is required.
