About the Role:

Egis is seeking a highly experienced Planning Engineer with a strong background in bridge construction projects, including steel and concrete structures. The successful candidate will play a critical role in project planning, scheduling, and delivery using Primavera P6, managing multiple infrastructure projects simultaneously while ensuring timely completion, compliance, and effective stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage baseline programs with detailed scope for steel and concrete bridge projects.

  • Develop and monitor baseline, recovery, and revised schedules for multiple concurrent projects.

  • Utilize Primavera P6 to conduct critical path analysis and mitigate delays.

  • Prepare Extension of Time (EoT) claims using Time Impact Analysis (TIA) techniques.

  • Analyze and update planning data to optimize project execution.

  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.

  • Lead coordination with stakeholders via regular progress meetings and communication.

  • Ensure timely delivery of weekly and monthly progress reports.

  • Identify and resolve project constraints to keep engineering work on track.

  • Maintain compliance with UAE authorities’ procedures and timeframes.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 12 to 16 years of experience in bridge project planning, including both steel and concrete structures.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable institution.

  • Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office tools.

  • Strong analytical skills in project risk management, scheduling, and EoT claim preparation.

  • In-depth knowledge of UAE project approval processes and local authority timelines.

  • Must be currently based in the UAE.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
