Sundus, a leading HR and recruitment solutions provider in the UAE, is seeking an experienced Phlebotomist to join its healthcare team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in specimen collection, venipuncture, and laboratory safety standards. This role requires a professional who can provide accurate, safe, and compassionate phlebotomy services while maintaining patient comfort and adhering to healthcare protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect blood and other specimens using standard phlebotomy techniques.

• Verify patient identity and ensure accurate specimen labeling.

• Safely store, handle, and transport collected samples.

• Maintain strict infection control, cleanliness, and lab safety procedures.

• Provide a calm and reassuring experience for patients during collection.

• Maintain records and assist in routine laboratory tasks as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy or laboratory experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (BSc/MLT).

• Proficiency in venipuncture and specimen handling.

• Strong knowledge of lab safety, infection control, and basic lab procedures.

• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
