Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi is seeking a Patient Access Representative II to manage patient scheduling, pre-registration, and non-clinical instructions for hospital visits. The role ensures insurance verification, financial counseling referrals, and a seamless patient experience, working closely with clinical teams and international patients.
Key Responsibilities:

Handle scheduling for outpatient and ancillary department visits.

Confirm appointments and notify patients of any changes via phone, SMS, or email.

Verify insurance eligibility and inform patients of financial responsibility.

Collect patient demographic and insurance information accurately.
-
Coordinate pre-certification, authorization, and pre-registration processes.
-
Provide non-clinical instructions and support for patient preparation.

Assist patients in activating MyChart and other hospital systems.

Collaborate with clinical teams for seamless scheduling and patient experience.

Deliver results in line with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set by management.

Perform additional duties as assigned by the department.
Qualifications & Requirements:

High School Diploma required; Diploma/Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s preferred.

Minimum 3 years of customer service experience; experience in Patient Access, Billing, or healthcare preferred.

Strong oral and written communication skills in English; Arabic preferred.

Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work independently or in a team.

Proficiency in MS Office, electronic medical records software, and hospital scheduling systems.

Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance, and hospital operations is a plus.

Critical thinker, resourceful, self-starter, and patient-focused.

Ability to work rotating shifts as needed and embrace the “Patients First” culture.
