The American University of Sharjah is hiring a Part-Time Personal Trainer to assess members’ fitness levels, design customized workout plans, and guide them in achieving their fitness goals. The ideal candidate should have relevant certifications, at least 2 years of experience, and a strong passion for fitness and helping others lead healthier lives.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct fitness assessments to evaluate members’ current health, fitness levels, and goals.

Develop and deliver personalized workout programs and group fitness classes.

Demonstrate exercises and techniques, ensuring proper form and safety.

Motivate and inspire members through personalized coaching and progress tracking.

Provide guidance on nutrition, weight management, and healthy lifestyle choices.

Monitor and adjust exercise programs to ensure continuous improvement.

Maintain a clean, safe, and professional workout environment.

Stay updated on fitness research, trends, and industry standards.

Participate in ongoing professional development and certifications.
Candidate Requirements / Key Skills:

Certification from a recognized fitness organization (e.g., NASM, ACE, ACSM).

Certification in group fitness instruction.

Minimum 2 years’ experience as a personal trainer or fitness instructor.

Strong knowledge of exercise physiology, anatomy, and nutrition.

CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.

Ability to teach one-on-one and group sessions.

Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.

Valid UAE resident visa with a Letter of No Objection (NOC) required before joining.
