The Adventure Centre is located in Hatta, UAE, and specializes in offering unforgettable outdoor education experiences to international school groups across Dubai and the UAE. They provide a wide range of activities, from residential school programs to DofE IA expeditions. The center offers three different sites, each designed to deliver exceptional outdoor learning experiences.

Role Overview:

The Adventure Centre is expanding its team for the upcoming 25-26 season and is looking for Outdoor Instructors to join their dynamic team. If you are passionate about adventure, enjoy working with school groups, and have a strong commitment to high-quality outdoor education, this is the perfect opportunity for you. This role will involve leading outdoor activities and delivering educational experiences in a beautiful, natural setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver Outdoor Education Programs: Lead various outdoor activities, including those tailored to international school groups and special programs like DofE IA expeditions.

• Ensure Safety: Maintain a safe environment for all participants during outdoor activities, with a focus on education, engagement, and fun.

• Positive Leadership: Foster a supportive and proactive attitude among participants, ensuring an enjoyable learning experience.

• Provide Support and Guidance: Assist with camp duties, including the management of groups and facilitating personal development through outdoor adventures.

• Collaborate with Other Instructors: Work closely with the other instructors to ensure smooth operations and high-quality program delivery.

Requirements:

• First Aid Qualification: This will be provided during the 3-week training period.

• DBS/Background Check: Required to ensure the safety of participants.

• Experience in the Outdoor Industry: Previous experience working in outdoor education or related fields is essential.

• Outdoor Qualification: Minimum of 1 relevant outdoor qualification.

Preferred Qualifications:

• DoE IA Expedition Assessor

• CWI/RCI (Climbing Wall Instructor/ Rock Climbing Instructor)

• Paddlesport Instructor

• Lifeguard Certification

• Valid Driving License

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary: Starting at 4,000 AED, with increases based on qualifications, experience, and role.

• Flight Allowance: Bonus paid upon completion of the contract.

• Working Visa: Provided.

• Training: 3 weeks of staff training, including an external First Aid certificate.

• Professional Development: Returning staff receive 1 paid qualification as part of Continuing Professional Development.

• Accommodation: Off-site accommodation with all bills covered.

• Meals: Provided during camp days.

• Transport: Company cars available for days off and personal adventures.

• Facilities: Free access to activity equipment/facilities at Hatta Fort Hotel, including swimming pools and gyms.

• Social Events: Staff social events and team-building opportunities.
