Etihad Credit Bureau is seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) for a contract role in Dubai. The DBA will manage, maintain, and optimize Oracle database environments, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. This role covers both on-premise and cloud-based systems, including Azure and OCI, and involves working with advanced Oracle technologies like Exadata, Oracle RAC, and Multitenant architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee database installations, configurations, and upgrades, including Oracle Grid Infrastructure (11g–23ai).

• Manage storage solutions using ASM, ACFS, and traditional file systems; experience with Exadata is a plus.

• Implement backup and recovery strategies using RMAN and Data Pump, including partition-level backups and TDE key management.

• Optimize SQL queries and system performance using AWR, ADDM, ASH, and SQLT tools.

• Enforce database security and compliance via Oracle Database Vault, TDE, VPD, and Data Masking, aligned with CIS/NIST standards.

• Support high availability and disaster recovery solutions, including Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and GoldenGate.

• Automate routine tasks and develop custom scripts for monitoring and self-healing.

• Manage incidents and changes using ITSM tools and collaborate with Oracle Support for resolutions.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.

• 8–10 years of experience as an Oracle DBA, preferably in credit bureau, banking, or technology-driven industries.

• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification required.

• Hands-on experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), RMAN, Data Guard, GoldenGate, and Linux administration (OEL, RHEL).

• Familiarity with Exadata, Oracle Database Appliance, and Multitenant architecture (CDB/PDB).

• Exposure to other databases like SQL Server or MongoDB is a bonus.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; able to work independently and under pressure.
