Job Title: Ophthalmologist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Ophthalmologist to join our medical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various eye conditions, performing corrective surgeries, and providing comprehensive eye care services. The Ophthalmologist will have the opportunity to specialize in specific areas of eye care, such as pediatric ophthalmology or advanced surgical techniques, including laser surgery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide routine eye care services such as vision testing and prescribing corrective lenses (glasses and contact lenses).
• Perform corrective surgeries, including repairing eye injuries, treating corneal diseases, and removing cataracts.
• Conduct advanced surgical procedures such as keyhole and laser eye surgeries.
• Diagnose and treat a variety of eye diseases, injuries, and disorders.
• Manage emergency eye clinics and outpatient clinics, providing timely and accurate care.
• Use a holistic approach to treat medical disorders affecting vision, including performing biopsies and therapeutic procedures.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in ophthalmology, diseases of the eye, and surgical techniques.

Requirements:

• Medical degree in Ophthalmology.
• Successful completion of an internship and residency in Ophthalmology.
• Valid state license to practice ophthalmology.
• Expert knowledge of the anatomy, diseases, and functions of the eye.
• Strong proficiency in physics, math, and medical knowledge related to ophthalmology.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and precision in performing surgical procedures.
• Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Good administrative and managerial skills.

Salary:
AED 65,000 to 95,000 per month, inclusive of fixed allowances.
