Job Description:

This role offers a unique opportunity to develop expertise in managing naval vessel port visits while ensuring operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and contract compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Port Visit Coordination: Plan, monitor, and execute naval port visits from award to departure, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to contract guidelines.
• Communication & Compliance: Liaise with customers, agents, and vendors to coordinate service arrangements while ensuring full compliance with contractual obligations.
• Operational Oversight: Collaborate with local agents, port authorities, and suppliers to preempt and address potential issues, maintaining a proactive approach.
• Documentation & Cost Management: Verify and track all contractual modifications, ensuring accurate documentation, cost verification, and invoicing.
• On-Site Supervision: Occasionally attend port operations to oversee execution, resolve issues, and promote company integrity and professionalism.
• Customer & Stakeholder Relations: Maintain strong relationships with clients, agents, and port authorities to ensure high service standards and operational excellence.
• HSSE Compliance: Ensure that local agents and vendors adhere to health, safety, security, and environmental guidelines.
• Weekend Duty & Handover: Assume weekend duty roles as required, ensuring uninterrupted operational support and smooth transition post-duty.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Excellent proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with comfort in handling financial figures.
• Ability to work under pressure and solve operational challenges effectively.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and travel on short notice.
• Strong teamwork, discipline, and resilience in fast-paced environments.
