Job Title: Operations Officer 

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Operations Officer to join our fast-paced aviation support team. The successful candidate will be pivotal in coordinating flight support services, managing ground handling operations, and ensuring seamless service delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of the aviation industry, particularly in the UAE.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, superior communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment. Previous experience in an aviation services company is required, along with a proven track record of coordinating flight-related services effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to client emails and queries, ensuring all communications are professional and in accordance with company SOPs.

• Record and manage client requests accurately in the company system, ensuring no missing or incorrect information.

• Coordinate with the commercial team and suppliers to ensure smooth operations and efficient service delivery.

• Submit applications for ground handling services, overflight/landing permits, and any other required documentation.

• Monitor service delivery progress and maintain clear communication with vendors, ensuring timely updates.

• Ensure all requested services are delivered to clients on time and in compliance with company policies and regulations.

• Handle various communications with CAAs, suppliers, and clients in a polite and professional manner via multiple channels (emails, calls, faxes, online applications, etc.).

Qualifications & Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in flight support services is mandatory.

• In-depth knowledge of aviation concierge services and ground handling operations.

• Experience applying for overflight/landing permits with CAA’s and local agents.

• Familiarity with ICAO flight plans, Item 18, EET, and related flight planning requirements.

• Strong knowledge of plotting flight routes and determining entry/exit points and times.

• Proficient in flight planning systems (e.g., JetPlanner, Arinc, PPS).

• Excellent command of English, both verbal and written; additional languages are a plus.

• Highly organized, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work flexible shifts and handle high-pressure situations with efficiency.
