Folks Express Logistics L.L.C, a fast-growing freight forwarding company, is hiring an Operations Officer to support its logistics operations across courier, airfreight, and seafreight. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end shipment operations, ensure customer satisfaction, and play a key role in enhancing pricing strategies and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Courier, Airfreight, and Seafreight inbound and outbound operations from initiation to delivery.

• Conduct market research to evaluate air freight pricing by country and provide competitive quotations.

• Communicate effectively with clients, internal teams, and agents to ensure smooth operations.

• Report financial details (charges, sales price, billing party, etc.) to the accounting team.

• Handle customer inquiries, prepare quotations, and track shipment status.

• Coordinate with shippers, consignees, and agents for timely updates.

• Prepare documentation for customs clearance and ensure compliance.

• Arrange last-mile deliveries and ensure smooth coordination.

• Demonstrate shift flexibility to meet operational needs.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in freight forwarding/logistics.

• Strong communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.

• Proficient in logistics software and technology tools.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Strong analytical abilities for pricing strategies and market trends.

• Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and adapt to dynamic situations.
