Job Title: Operations Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the end-to-end cut and bend steel production process for a leading steel fabrication company in Dubai. The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of hands-on expertise in steel operations, production management, quality assurance, and team leadership within the construction or manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise all steel cut and bend operations, ensuring adherence to project specifications and delivery timelines

• Implement and enforce quality control procedures to maintain high standards in steel fabrication

• Lead and mentor a team of technicians and machine operators, promoting safety, efficiency, and high performance

• Oversee inventory management of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring optimal stock levels

• Optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs

• Ensure full compliance with local health and safety standards and internal company policies

• Develop and execute strategic business initiatives to support company growth and operational excellence

• Represent the company in negotiations with customers, suppliers, and financial institutions

• Drive cost control measures across purchasing, production, and distribution

• Support business expansion through new machinery acquisition, staff recruitment, and factory setup

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive sales and improve profitability

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in steel cut and bend operations within the construction/manufacturing sector

• Proven experience managing steel production processes, including purchasing, costing, and planning

• Strong understanding of machinery, fabrication techniques, and quality control systems

• Previous experience in business development, team management, and financial oversight

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline

• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills

• Familiarity with Middle Eastern markets, especially UAE or GCC, is highly preferred
