Job Overview:

Confluent is seeking a high-performing OEM Account Executive to expand its footprint in the EMEA region. This remote role focuses on building strategic partnerships with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) by embedding Confluent’s data streaming solutions into their service offerings. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a hunter mentality, strong technical acumen, and a track record of success in embedded software sales.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement regional go-to-market strategies targeting ISVs and CSPs

• Identify, build, and manage strategic partnerships with MSPs and cloud providers

• Lead direct sales efforts and collaborate with digital marketing and partner channels

• Deliver tailored presentations and articulate the value of Confluent’s platform to technical and business stakeholders

• Negotiate partnership terms, ensuring alignment with internal product and legal teams

• Proactively identify new opportunities and maintain a healthy sales pipeline

• Work jointly with partners on go-to-market campaigns, co-marketing, and enablement programs

• Stay up-to-date with market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor positioning

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in embedded software sales, preferably within data infrastructure, open source, or big data

• Familiarity with Kafka, Confluent, or similar streaming technologies

• Demonstrated success in building and managing MSP/CSP partnerships

• Strong technical understanding with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills

• Prior experience in a fast-paced, high-growth tech environment

• Existing relationships in the MSP/cloud ecosystem (preferred)
