Oceaneering, a global leader in engineered services and products for the offshore energy industry, is seeking UAE National candidates for the role of NDT Technician – Trainee in Dubai. This entry-level role offers comprehensive training in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques and provides a pathway to advancement as an SNT Level II certified technician. The position is designed for UAE Nationals with a passion for engineering, inspection, and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform NDT techniques including Visual Testing (VT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Penetrant Testing (PT), Radiographic Testing (RT), and Eddy Current Testing (ET) after training.

• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards during inspections.

• Conduct risk assessments and maintain a safe work environment.

• Test and maintain inspection equipment and consumables.

• Evaluate inspection results and prepare clear reports.

• Support Oceaneering and client operations in line with operating procedures.

• Adhere to Oceaneering’s Health, Safety, Security, Environmental, and Quality (HSSEQ) systems.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Essential).

• Willingness to undertake full NDT training under SNT-TC-1A requirements.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• UAE National with Family Book (mandatory).

• Valid UAE driving license (Preferred).

Additional Training Provided:

• IRATA Rope Access Level 1 (site-specific).

• Progression to advanced NDT certifications upon completion of Level II training.

Working Conditions:

• Onshore role with exposure to outdoor/indoor environments, noise, vibration, and airborne dust/fumes.

• Requires use of PPE and ability to work in confined spaces, elevated areas, and around heavy equipment.

• Physical requirements include lifting, climbing, stooping, and working in varied conditions.
