Louvre Abu Dhabi, a landmark museum celebrating global culture and humanity’s shared history, is hiring a Multimedia and Interpretation Officer exclusively for UAE Nationals. This full-time, on-site role supports the creation and management of innovative content and interpretation tools within the museum, including signage, digital content, and interactive spaces such as the Children’s Museum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage administrative tasks, including invoice processing for departmental projects.

• Coordinate with IT on content updates, system testing, and technical issue tracking.

• Collaborate with Visitor Services and Technical Operations teams for training, safety compliance, and installation of interpretation tools.

• Assist in visual and copyright coordination with the Senior Visual & Images Officer.

• Support marketing efforts by coordinating promotional strategies for interpretation tools.

• Conduct research and assist in content documentation for mediation projects.

• Oversee translation processes and content approvals for multimedia devices and signage.

• Proofread and ensure consistency in bilingual (Arabic/English) content.

• Coordinate with external contractors on project development and implementation.

• Update content management systems related to multimedia and interactive programs.

• Liaise with Publications and Education teams to develop related content.

• Assist with label installation during gallery updates and artwork rotations.

• Archive mediation and interpretation project documentation.

• Support contract and payment processing for freelancers and contractors.

• Help prepare and track necessary work permits for on-site contractors.

Requirements:

• 0–3 years of post-graduate experience in content editing.

• Interest in museums, public engagement, exhibitions, and educational programs.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Fluency in both Arabic and English.

• Comfortable working with multimedia and interpretive assets.

• Willingness to collaborate across departments and with external teams.
