EY is seeking an experienced Mergers and Acquisition (M&A) Senior Manager to join their dynamic Strategy & Transactions team in Dubai. The role involves leading complex energy sector transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, fundraising, and mergers. You will manage deal cycles, conduct financial modeling, advise senior executives, and drive business development activities across the transaction lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead execution of transactions across client portfolios in the energy sector.

• Prepare and review client reports, pitch books, and transaction documentation.

• Originate and deliver transaction ideas by leveraging relationships and market insights.

• Project manage transaction timetables, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met.

• Identify and manage risks and key business drivers during deals.

• Advise C-suite executives and boards on strategic alternatives related to transactions.

• Lead, mentor, and develop junior colleagues, contributing to team growth.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field from a reputable university.

• 7-8+ years’ experience in M&A, with demonstrated role in deal execution.

• Strong financial, numerical, and modeling skills with deep understanding of financial statements.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and project management abilities.

• Ability to produce high-quality professional client documents.

• Willingness to travel approximately 25-75%.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA or Master’s degree in finance or related field.

• CFA qualification is an advantage.

• Experience in client-facing roles within professional services or investment banking.

• Experience working in GCC or mature markets.
