Role Overview

As a Financial Analyst at Wear That, you will play a vital role in managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate accounting, and serving as the key liaison between Wear That and Chalhoub Group. This role requires a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to support month-end closing, cash management, supplier payments, and financial reporting.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities for key balance sheet and income statement accounts.

  • Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, creative, technology, data, and merchandise teams to support accounting processes.

  • Monitor cash flow, profit and loss, and balance sheet reports.

  • Prepare audit schedules and assist with annual audit preparations.

  • Support internal management reporting and financial analysis for decision-making.

  • Prepare tax returns, revenue projections, and budget monitoring reports.

  • Ensure proper documentation and approvals for financial transactions in line with company policies.

  • Process supplier payments timely and reconcile payment discrepancies.

  • Handle petty cash transactions and maintain proper documentation and controls.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with an accounting focus.

  • 4-5+ years of relevant experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles.

  • Strong understanding of technical accounting principles and practices.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and data analysis).

  • Experience with Zoho Books and Oracle preferred.
