Urban Ridge Supplies is looking to hire a detail-oriented and experienced MEP Estimator to join their team in Dubai. This is a full-time, on-site position for a skilled professional with a strong understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems and a proven track record in accurate project estimation within the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

• Review tender documents including drawings, specifications, and BOQs for MEP works.

• Prepare cost estimates for HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, and electrical systems.

• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate and competitive quotations.

• Conduct quantity take-offs and develop detailed breakdowns for materials and labor costs.

• Identify technical and commercial risks and assist in value engineering and cost-saving strategies.

• Collaborate with design, planning, and procurement teams for estimation alignment.

• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and handle post-tender clarifications.

• Maintain updated databases of historical costs and supplier information.

• Prepare estimation reports and documentation required for tender submissions.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP estimation within the construction sector.

• Proficient in estimation software such as CCS Candy, PlanSwift, Bluebeam, along with AutoCAD and MS Excel.

• In-depth knowledge of MEP systems, local installation practices, and regional codes.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and meet tight deadlines.
