ALEC Engineering and Contracting L.L.C. (ALEC), a leading GCC construction company renowned for its iconic developments, is looking to hire an MEP Engineer for their high-profile projects. This full-time, on-site position will be responsible for coordinating design, construction, and testing & commissioning of MEP activities, ensuring adherence to schedules, specifications, and project drawings. ALEC is currently involved in the region’s first integrated gaming resort – the Wynn Resort. The MEP Engineer will play a critical role in delivering landmark projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and prepare detailed working schedules for MEP activities based on the project schedule

• Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely completion of submittals, including shop drawings, materials, and documents

• Review and ensure accuracy of subcontractor submittals, drawings, and technical queries

• Conduct material inspections to verify compliance with specifications

• Oversee the progress of work and implement corrective actions when necessary to meet project milestones

• Coordinate testing, commissioning, and snagging activities to ensure successful project completion

Qualifications & Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in MEP works and construction management

• Preferably degree/diploma qualified

• In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works

• Strong organizational, coordination, and communication skills
