EDMAC Engineering Consultant LLC is seeking a skilled MEP Draughtsman to join its team in Dubai. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for candidates with strong drafting expertise in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within building construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a background in MEP consultancy and experience in working with UAE authority regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate MEP drawings (plans, elevations, sections, and details) using AutoCAD and related design tools.

• Integrate MEP systems into architectural and structural designs while complying with UAE building codes and authority regulations.

• Collaborate with engineers to ensure all drawings reflect the intended design and technical specifications.

• Coordinate with senior design engineers to determine requirements for service room sizes and entry points for all MEP services.

• Work on AutoCAD Xref files efficiently and maintain drawing quality and accuracy.

• Incorporate feedback from design engineers and ensure timely submission of design documents.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MEP Draughtsman; 3 years of experience in consultancy preferred.

• Strong understanding of MEP design systems including firefighting, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.

• Proficient in AutoCAD and other MEP design tools (e.g., pipe and duct sizing software).

• Familiarity with submission requirements and regulations of UAE authorities such as DM, DCD, and DDA is highly desirable.

• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

• Up-to-date CV and portfolio are mandatory for application consideration.
