Aspris by Alkalma is seeking a Mental Health Nurse to provide compassionate, professional, and patient-focused care within its healthcare team. The role involves delivering high-quality mental health services, supporting patients’ independence, promoting holistic well-being, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and hospital standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and families.

• Promote patient independence by setting care goals, offering education on conditions, medications, and self-care.

• Ensure quality of care by following therapeutic standards and hospital/nursing regulations.

• Resolve patient concerns through collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

• Maintain safe and clean working environments, complying with infection control and medication procedures.

• Document all patient care services accurately in records.

• Ensure continuity across nursing teams through effective communication and documentation.

• Assist physicians with diagnosis, treatments, and follow-ups.

• Monitor patients’ physical, mental, and emotional health status.

• Maintain medical supplies, equipment, and inventory.

• Deliver health education to patients and families to encourage healthy behaviors.

• Apply universal infection control principles to reduce disease transmission.

• Participate in professional development through workshops, publications, and networks.

• Uphold confidentiality and respect for patient rights at all times.

• Support safeguarding practices for vulnerable individuals, including children and adults.

Qualifications & Skills:

• DOH/DHA License is mandatory.

• Diploma in Nursing (or higher qualification).

• Fluency in English (spoken and written).

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and in emotionally challenging situations.

• Strong knowledge of infection control and safety procedures.

• Reliability, punctuality, and professional integrity.

Working Environment:

• On-site role in Dubai.

• Occasionally exposed to high physical, sensory, and emotional demands.

• Must maintain confidentiality and accuracy of records and patient information.
