Job Title: Medical Receptionist
Job Description:
We are looking for a highly organized and customer-focused Medical Receptionist with proven UAE experience in a hospital or clinic setting. As the first point of contact for patients and visitors, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the front desk.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Reception & Registration:

Welcome patients and visitors in a professional, courteous manner

Accurately register patients, verify personal and insurance details

Manage patient check-in and check-out procedures
-
Maintain confidentiality in compliance with privacy policies
Appointment Management:

Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
-
Optimize scheduling to minimize wait times

Coordinate with medical staff for urgent or special cases
Communication & Information:
-
Answer and route phone calls, emails, and inquiries professionally

Provide accurate details about clinic/hospital services and procedures

Relay important messages to relevant medical and administrative staff
Administrative Support:

Maintain organized patient records and files
-
Process payments and address billing inquiries

Keep the reception area clean, organized, and well-stocked

Perform general clerical duties including filing, photocopying, and data entry
Insurance & Billing:
-
Verify patient insurance coverage and process claims
-
Handle co-payments and financial transactions accurately

Ensure compliance with UAE medical billing regulations
UAE-Specific Requirements:

Familiarity with UAE health insurance procedures and regulations

Knowledge of local healthcare protocols

Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems used in the UAE
Qualifications & Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent; certification is a plus

1–2 years of UAE-based experience as a receptionist in a hospital or clinic

Strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures

Proficient in MS Office and EMR systems
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-
Ability to multitask, manage time efficiently, and remain professional under pressure

Fluency in English (Arabic is an advantage)
