Confidential, Dubai is seeking an experienced Media Consultant to join their team immediately. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong PR consultancy background and hands-on journalism experience, ready to manage high-profile projects and deliver impactful media strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and edit press releases, media statements, speeches, and feature stories.

• Develop and execute media engagement strategies and campaign plans.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, influencers, and media outlets.

• Provide hands-on media relations support including interviews, press briefings, and coverage follow-up.

• Work on RFPs and contribute to new business proposals.

• Support client accounts with day-to-day communications, planning, and reporting.

• Monitor media coverage, track KPIs, and prepare analysis reports.

• Contribute to social and digital media content planning when needed.

• Assist in crisis communications strategy and response.

• Coordinate events, press conferences, and media briefings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field (Master’s preferred).

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Public Relations consultancy agency.

• At least 3 years of journalism experience (preferred).

• Strong understanding of media relations, storytelling, and content development.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).

• Solid understanding of UAE and regional media landscape.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with media monitoring tools and PR software.
