Holcim, a global leader in building materials, is hiring a Mechanical Coordinator in Fujairah. The role is responsible for coordinating maintenance activities with a strong focus on safety, reliability, and cost optimization. The Mechanical Coordinator will oversee preventive and predictive maintenance, reduce equipment breakdowns, and ensure compliance with HSE standards while leading and coaching the maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are strictly followed, conducting daily inspections and enforcing PPE usage.

• Plan, schedule, and execute daily/weekly maintenance activities to minimize equipment breakdowns and stoppages.

• Supervise, coach, and develop maintenance staff, fostering a safe and efficient work culture.

• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance to enhance machinery efficiency and reliability.

• Maintain maintenance history, records, and reports through WR/WO systems.

• Conduct annual appraisals and toolbox talks, focusing on safety and technical improvements.

• Support cost optimization through technical improvements and maintenance strategies.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and business conduct guidelines.

• Lead investigations for technical issues, propose solutions, and supervise equipment testing post-maintenance.

• Define area needs for budgeting and collaborate with the Mechanical Maintenance Manager.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• 3–5 years of mechanical experience in cement or other continuous process heavy industries.

• Strong knowledge of cement manufacturing processes and heavy industry operations.

• Proficiency in practical engineering operations and maintenance practices.

• Professional English fluency; knowledge of Arabic or Hindi is an added advantage.

• Leadership skills with experience in team management, training, and coaching.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
