Bring Mechanical Designs to Life at CADD Emirates

We are looking for a Mechanical CAD Draftsman with a strong background in technical drafting and 2D/3D mechanical design. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineers to create accurate drawings, BOMs, and documentation for mechanical components and systems. This is a full-time opportunity based in Dubai to contribute to high-impact engineering and manufacturing projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare 2D and 3D mechanical drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD tools.

• Translate engineering sketches, layouts, and calculations into precise technical drawings.

• Revise designs based on feedback from engineers and project teams.

• Generate Bill of Materials (BOMs) and documentation required for manufacturing and assembly.

• Ensure all drawings adhere to industry standards and company-specific drafting guidelines.

• Collaborate with engineers, production staff, and project managers for seamless project flow.

• Conduct or coordinate site visits when needed for dimension verification or issue resolution.

• Maintain and update drawing databases and document controls.

Candidate Requirements:

• Diploma or Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical drafting.

• Proficiency in CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor.

• Strong understanding of mechanical components, systems, and manufacturing processes.

• High attention to detail with the ability to read and interpret technical schematics.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
