Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Math Teacher to join a reputable school in Al Ain, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Math to Cycle 2 and Cycle 3 students (Grades 6-12) while ensuring high educational standards and curriculum adherence.

Qualifications & Experience

🎓 Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
• A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) is preferred.
• ADEK Appointment Letter is required.
• Minimum IELTS 7.0 Band for English proficiency.

📌 Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience teaching Math at the middle and secondary school levels (Grades 6-12).
• Teaching experience in the UAE or GCC region is an advantage but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

📚 Lesson Planning & Delivery

• Develop and deliver engaging Math lessons covering Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Calculus.
• Use varied teaching methods (group discussions, multimedia, real-life applications) to enhance understanding.
• Adapt lessons to diverse learning styles to keep students engaged and challenged.

📝 Assessment & Feedback

• Conduct assignments, quizzes, and exams to track student progress.
• Provide constructive feedback and grade report cards with clear performance insights.
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress and address concerns.

🏫 Classroom Management

• Foster a positive and respectful learning environment.
• Implement the school’s behavior management policies effectively.
• Encourage student confidence and active participation in class discussions.

📖 Curriculum Support

• Follow the school’s Math curriculum, making adjustments for individual student needs.
• Provide extra support through tutoring or after-school assistance when needed.
• Develop students’ critical thinking, problem-solving, and mathematical reasoning skills.

🤝 Collaboration & Professional Development

• Work closely with the Math Department and other teachers for curriculum planning.
