GEMS International School, Al Khail, is seeking an experienced and passionate Math Teacher to join their Secondary Team immediately. Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality Math lessons tailored to diverse learning styles and abilities.

• Prepare and maintain detailed lesson plans, records, and assessment strategies.

• Support GEMS policies, procedures, and codes of conduct at all times.

• Use technology and media effectively in classroom teaching.

• Address the needs of students including ESL learners, gifted students, and students with additional support requirements.

• Promote student well-being, provide educational guidance, and encourage self-discipline.

• Build positive relationships with parents, keeping them informed of student progress.

• Lead and participate in co-curricular and extracurricular activities (e.g., competitions, school events).

• Actively engage in staff appraisal, professional development, and curriculum enhancement.

• Support and model cultural awareness, respect, and a lifelong love of learning.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Education:

  • A degree-level professional teaching qualification such as B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE specializing in Mathematics.

• Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years solid teaching experience in Mathematics.

  • IB curriculum experience preferred but not mandatory.
