Anotech is seeking a Materials Engineering Lead to oversee Corrosion and Material Selection, Metallurgy and Welding, Piping Material Definition, Coating & Insulation, and Cathodic Protection Systems for major onshore, offshore, and pipeline projects in the Oil & Gas, Refinery, and Chemical sectors. The role requires expertise in engineering standards, compliance with project requirements, and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
Engineering & Project Execution:

Lead materials engineering activities to optimize the performance of metallic and non-metallic materials.

Ensure compliance with QA/QC and HSE standards.

Develop engineering practices, specifications, and procedures for material selection.
-
Conduct feasibility studies and provide technical support in the bidding phase.
-
Define material requirements, prepare purchase requisitions, and oversee vendor evaluations.

Monitor and report project progress, budgets, and technical issues to the Project Manager.

Provide technical support for procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.

Oversee vendor inspections and testing plans for compliance.
Construction & Commissioning Support:
-
Provide engineering solutions at construction sites.

Ensure that materials engineering workflows align with project execution plans.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize material technologies for enhanced performance.
Qualifications & Experience:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
-
10+ years of experience in materials engineering.
-
Experience in EPCI projects for Middle East clients (Saudi Aramco, QP, QG, ADNOC).

Expertise in Corrosion, Metallurgy, Piping Materials, Coatings, and Cathodic Protection Systems.

Strong project management and team coordination skills.
