Anotech is seeking a Materials Engineering Lead to oversee Corrosion and Material Selection, Metallurgy and Welding, Piping Material Definition, Coating & Insulation, and Cathodic Protection Systems for major onshore, offshore, and pipeline projects in the Oil & Gas, Refinery, and Chemical sectors. The role requires expertise in engineering standards, compliance with project requirements, and ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

Engineering & Project Execution:

• Lead materials engineering activities to optimize the performance of metallic and non-metallic materials.

• Ensure compliance with QA/QC and HSE standards.

• Develop engineering practices, specifications, and procedures for material selection.

• Conduct feasibility studies and provide technical support in the bidding phase.

• Define material requirements, prepare purchase requisitions, and oversee vendor evaluations.

• Monitor and report project progress, budgets, and technical issues to the Project Manager.

• Provide technical support for procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.

• Oversee vendor inspections and testing plans for compliance.

Construction & Commissioning Support:

• Provide engineering solutions at construction sites.

• Ensure that materials engineering workflows align with project execution plans.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize material technologies for enhanced performance.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.

• 10+ years of experience in materials engineering.

• Experience in EPCI projects for Middle East clients (Saudi Aramco, QP, QG, ADNOC).

• Expertise in Corrosion, Metallurgy, Piping Materials, Coatings, and Cathodic Protection Systems.

• Strong project management and team coordination skills.
