Armina Shipping DMCC is seeking a qualified and experienced Master / Captain for a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai. The Master/Captain will be responsible for overseeing all daily vessel operations, ensuring the safety and security of the crew and cargo, and maintaining compliance with international and local maritime regulations. This role involves navigating and piloting the ship, coordinating with port authorities, managing ship maintenance and repairs, and leading the crew effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily vessel operations, ensuring safe navigation and piloting.

• Manage the safety and security of crew, cargo, and ship.

• Coordinate communication and compliance with port authorities.

• Supervise ship maintenance and repairs to ensure operational readiness.

• Ensure compliance with international maritime laws and company policies.

• Lead, motivate, and manage the ship’s crew for efficient operations.

• Handle navigation and cargo management effectively to ensure smooth sailing.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Master Mariner Certificate.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Master/Captain in the shipping industry.

• Proficient in piloting, navigating, and vessel operations.

• Strong knowledge of international and local maritime regulations.

• Skilled in safety and security management on vessels.

• Experience managing ship maintenance and repairs.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

• Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
