Dubai Careers is looking for a Marine Map Analyst to design and produce navigational marine maps and depth charts (both paper and electronic) according to international standards. This role involves analyzing and extracting marine data, updating maps, and ensuring the accuracy and safety of the information for maritime users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and produce navigational marine maps and depth charts (both paper and electronic) according to international standards

• Create topographic maps of the coastline, elevation data, and special depth maps

• Analyze and extract marine digital data from various sources such as aerial and satellite images

• Update marine maps by making necessary modifications and changes to ensure data accuracy and user safety

• Prepare emergency design maps for marine navigation and depth charts according to international IHO standards

• Convert hydrographic survey data into 2D models for map representation and projection

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marine Map Production, Marine Surveying, Geomatics, Marine Sciences, or Information Technology

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in marine mapping science, hydrographic data, and marine GIS systems
