Aventus, representing a fast-growing US-based Crypto Exchange, is looking for a visionary Managing Director – UAE to spearhead regional expansion from its Dubai hub. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commercial acumen, a deep understanding of financial markets (both DeFi and TradFi), and proven leadership in fast-paced, high-growth environments. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the company’s UAE market expansion in alignment with a 3-year strategic growth roadmap.

• Oversee profit & loss responsibilities and team expansion across the region.

• Drive licensing and regulatory approvals, including vendor and executive team selections.

• Establish and launch the regional office in the UAE.

• Design and implement commercial and operational scaling strategies.

• Provide strong, hands-on leadership with a focus on day-to-day execution.

• Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing, adaptable team with a startup mindset.

• Ensure flexibility in navigating evolving financial and regulatory landscapes.

Requirements:
Technical & Industry Knowledge:

• Familiarity with financial assets, blockchain technology, and digital trading platforms (FX, equities, etc.).

• Experience in DeFi and TradFi sectors.

• Web3 or crypto experience preferred, but not mandatory.

• Understanding of UAE’s regulatory framework and licensing processes.

Leadership & Commercial Expertise:

• Strong background in business development, P&L management, and operational leadership.

• Demonstrated ability to scale organizations in dynamic environments.
