Dubai Holding Asset Management is seeking a Manager – Retail Design to oversee the design and delivery of retail spaces across its extensive retail portfolio. This role will ensure the seamless execution of tenant fit-outs, compliance with design standards, and alignment with Dubai Holding’s brand identity. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating design approvals, construction processes, and stakeholder communication to enhance retail destinations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the design and delivery of retail tenancies, ensuring compliance with Dubai Holding’s design standards.
• Manage tenant design approvals, site inspections, and construction processes to deliver high-quality retail spaces.
• Coordinate with Project Management, Leasing, Construction, and Mall Management teams for seamless project execution.
• Provide technical guidance to tenants, consultants, and contractors on design, construction, and site-based activities.
• Conduct site visits to monitor fit-out progress and ensure adherence to approved designs.
• Review design submissions and provide feedback to address design violations.
• Ensure all shops and units are fully operational within the agreed project timeline.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Lead weekly progress reporting on fit-out status to key stakeholders.
• Stay updated on market trends to enhance retail formats and design innovation.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
• 6-8 years of experience in retail design management, preferably in shopping malls or retail developments.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Strong project management, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.
• Excellent English communication skills (Arabic is a plus).
