The Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism is seeking a Manager – Projects Delivery to lead cost competitiveness initiatives supporting Dubai’s D33 agenda. This role oversees strategic project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with economic growth and sustainability objectives. The manager will provide financial insights, optimize resources, and implement innovative practices to enhance Dubai’s economic competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic initiatives aligned with Dubai’s D33 agenda.

• Manage projects end-to-end, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.

• Optimize resources and adopt innovative practices to maximize project efficiency.

• Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

Financial Analysis & Cost Optimization:

• Develop advanced financial models to guide decision-making.

• Provide insights on cost management and financial efficiency.

• Support economic competitiveness through data-driven project evaluations.

Stakeholder Management:

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic goals.

• Communicate project progress, risks, and outcomes effectively.

• Negotiate and coordinate across multiple teams to deliver successful outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, or Finance (Master’s/MBA preferred).

• Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, MSP, or Financial Modeling highly desirable.

• 6–9 years’ project management experience in economic development, cost optimization, or efficiency projects.

• Expertise in financial analysis, cost management, and risk mitigation.

• Proven ability to deliver projects aligned with strategic objectives.

• Proficient in project management tools (MS Project, Asana) and financial modeling software.

• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
