Philip Morris International (PMI) is hiring a Manager for Procurement Account CZ, SK, responsible for leading the local procurement function, aligning sourcing strategies with regional directives, and delivering optimized procurement outcomes. This hybrid, contract-based role requires a strategic thinker with strong negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and procurement leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the local procurement team and act as the primary point of reference for procurement strategies

• Align local sourcing initiatives with regional plans and cluster direction

• Engage with senior stakeholders to influence business strategy and improve resource allocation

• Translate business requirements into procurement action plans

• Lead and coordinate complex negotiations, anticipate outcomes, and align with stakeholders

• Provide market insights during budgeting, including inflation and margin protection strategies

• Balance use of contracts vs. purchase orders for speed and efficiency in procurement

• Promote lean methodologies and transfer non-core processes to shared service centers

• Ensure compliance with legal policies in business proposals and project initiatives

• Collaborate across the matrix organization and influence procurement decisions

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related field

• Procurement Institute diploma preferred; MBA is a plus

• Minimum of 7 years in Procurement, Supply Chain, or related commercial functions

• Strong understanding of regulatory environments and matrix organizations

• Exceptional negotiation, communication, project management, and analytical skills

• High level of business and financial acumen
