The Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) is seeking a skilled Manager of Market Research & Insights to lead comprehensive research initiatives, analyze market trends, and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making. This on-site role requires an Arabic speaker with expertise in qualitative and quantitative research, data analysis, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will integrate insights across business functions to drive DET’s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement market research strategies aligned with DET’s goals.

  • Design and execute qualitative and quantitative research projects to analyze market dynamics and consumer behavior.

  • Analyze trends, consumer behavior, and competitive dynamics to provide actionable insights for senior management.

  • Lead and mentor a team of researchers and analysts to ensure high-quality outputs.

  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product development teams to integrate insights into business strategies.

  • Manage external research agencies and vendors to ensure timely, quality deliverables.

  • Present research findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.

  • Stay updated on new research methodologies and integrate innovative tools into DET’s research practices.

  • Develop KPIs to track the effectiveness of market strategies and identify growth opportunities.

  • Contribute to the development of budgets, policies, procedures, and strategic initiatives within the department.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience in market research, analytics, or insights management.

  • Fluency in Arabic and English.

  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and team management skills.

  • Expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.

  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and data interpretation abilities.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills to convey insights effectively.

  • Ability to liaise with internal teams, stakeholders, and external vendors.
