The Center for Future Economy (CFE) at Umm Al Quwain University (UAQU) is seeking a motivated and visionary Manager to lead its day-to-day operations. This role is an exceptional opportunity to shape and grow a brand-new academic think tank focused on the future economy — including sustainability, digitalization, and entrepreneurship. The successful candidate will work directly with the University Chancellor and the Dean of the College of Business Administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the daily operations of the CFE, including strategic planning and administrative oversight.

• Develop and execute programs, trainings, and high-impact events.

• Establish partnerships with government entities, private sector stakeholders, and academic institutions.

• Represent the CFE in networking activities and strategic forums.

• Support UAQU’s vision of becoming a leading academic knowledge hub in sustainability, digitalization, and entrepreneurship.

• Assist in developing and promoting student incubator programs and executive-level training.

• Help build a strong brand identity for the CFE regionally and nationally.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in sustainability, digitalization, entrepreneurship, business, or a related field.

• 5–10 years of relevant managerial or administrative experience, ideally in business development or innovation-focused environments.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and deliver results with minimal supervision.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Professional-level fluency in English; Arabic fluency is highly preferred.

• Experience in fundraising, grant writing, or startup incubation is a plus.

• A passion for future-oriented education, innovation, and real-world impact.
